🦉 The green sandpiper (Tringa ochropus)

I always meet these long-legged pinocchios near the river in mid-July. There is a place where, due to the unevenness of the landscape, when the river recedes, a lake turns out.

And various sandpipers and ducks love this place very much.

These guys also stay there to rest and have lunch. As a rule, there are at least three birds there.
Why did I say stay to rest? Because it is in July that these birds begin to fly back to their wintering grounds, and so early.
