On Thursday I finally visited the forest which is located near the river bank.
At the top of the hill I met a cute squirrel. I took a photo with my phone, since I didn鈥檛 have time to take the camera out of my backpack yet.
Descending from the hill in the bushes, I expectedly met a blyth reed warbler. She sang the song loudly.
There was a common rosefinch nearby. A beautiful pink male was calling for a female.
At the edge of the forest I heard a gray-headed woodpecker and went towards it. He sat on a branch and looked around. Was he also waiting for a female?
And on the river, almost at the very shore, I saw a common sandpiper floating on a branch.
I reached a ravine where kingfishers live every year. But unfortunately I didn't find them there.
But there was a white wagtail there.
On the shore there are small remains of rocks that were here many years ago. I sat down on them to rest.
And then I suddenly heard a familiar and welcome voice. These were my favorite kingfishers! But they were not in the ravine, but were fishing near the shore where the bushes grow.
In these places there is an interesting area, there is a small meadow, open space, and nearby there is a section of forest in which tall coniferous trees grow.
There I met a treecreeper .
There were also charming orioles flying around me.
Here I also met a bird that always refuses to be photographed in every possible way. This is Icterine warbler.
And of course the bird, for which I go to this place. This is eurasian hobby.
I sat down to have lunch, placed the mre in a flameless warmer, and out of nowhere and why, a butterfly flew in and began trying to land on the rather hot package. And this continued for a long time until I drove her away.
After lunch I walked back home and met this bird. Well, finally I met and saw a Oriental cuckoo live!
