Waking up this morning, my legs were still hurting quite a bit from last Sunday. I feel my activity last few days did made it clear it was just soreness so nothing to worry about and not an excuse not to get out there and have some fun!
Today I went to the artificial ski-hill on a 20 min drive from my place. While the core of the training was hill repeats, I also understand that I have to build back the intensity gradually. So while I did >2000m height gains a session earlier this year, realisticly I am just starting again so thats why I included some mountainbike trails in the run (fun!!!) but overall had a good workout
I did make the rookie mistake not to check the camelbag before putting it on, so when I wanted to take a sip at 10 min - it wasnβt working and had to take the gear off and correct it before I could get going again.
I did plan to go for a couple more minutes but after a slip and fall, my body gave a hint that the effective running time for today was over. I decided to listen and call it a day! If I have some more time later this week I might go for another round!
Happy running
