Calisthenics at Fortín Solano
On this occasion, I bring you a few photos from my various training sessions up at Fortín Solano.
Fortín Solano is an old Spanish fortress located on top of a hill in my city. Several athletes usually come up here to do uphill running to add intensity to their routines. I usually jog the whole way up, and once at the fortress or its surroundings, I take advantage of the historical structures to train—whether doing a straddle planche on the high railings of the fort or a front lever on the metal arch of the well, I always find a way to do calisthenics in this place. Plus, you can take fantastic photos with the city, the sea, and the sunsets in the background. Whenever I come, I make sure to photograph everything because this place always provides unique and unrepeatable spectacles every single day. Here are several photos of the statics I have performed here and the landscapes you can witness from this spot.
Training atop a historic mountainside fortress blends physical conditioning with local heritage. Utilizing old stone railings and metal structures for advanced static holds creates a striking contrast against the coastal scenery.
Capturing high-level bodyweight skills with sweeping views of the bay and sunset makes every trip up the hill entirely worthwhile. I hope these photographs convey the unique atmosphere of training at Fortín Solano.
I hope you enjoyed these photographs. Without anything more to add, I bid farewell. Stay tuned for future posts! Until next time!
