Materials Used.
2–3 medium-sized sweet potatoes
1 medium-sized onion, thinly sliced
2–3 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced
1–2 green chilies, chopped
A few curry leaves
A piece of rampe (pandan leaf)
1 piece of cinnamon
½ teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon curry powder
½ teaspoon mustard seeds
1 cup coconut milk
½ cup water
Salt, to taste
The cooking process as follows.
First, let’s get ready to prepare the dish. Wash the sweet potatoes thoroughly, peel them, and cut them into suitable-sized pieces.
Now, add some water to a cooking pot and put in the chopped sweet potatoes. Boil them well until they are tender and cooked through.
Next, transfer the boiled sweet potatoes to a cooking pot. Add the spices and a pinch of salt. Then add the chopped onion, green chilies, garlic, and coconut milk. Finally, add the curry leaves and mix everything gently.
Place the pot on the stove and cook for about 5 minutes. Then remove it from the stove.
