Today we are back, for a new edition of this weekly vegan challenge YOUR VEGGIE SHOPPING, an activity that we have created, to learn more about the shopping experience that all of you, dear users, have when supplying food your pantry, either in the markets, in the different commercial establishments or directly in the field, with the producers.

In the previous edition, dedicated to the purchase of FRUITS, we had a total of 9 entries, all very interesting and wonderful. Here we present them:

My Veggie Shopping #7 (Fruits) : Banana Jam for Tasty Bread | by @dehai

For the first time

@dehai posts in our community, and she has done it for the vegan fruit shopping challenge. She surprised us with an excellent post where she takes us shopping in the city of Bogo, and there she buys two kilos of banana that she later transforms into a delicious jam, ideal to eat with good bread. Excellent post.

On this occasion

@nurfay takes us shopping at a traditional market close to her home, in the town of Kruenggeukuh. There she finds a well-stocked fruit stall, where she buys fruits that are native to her country, (Indonesia), such as jicama, salak and kedondong, and also some oranges. In this great post, she talks about little-known fruits and tells us how to store them.

Another of the winners of the vegan challenge is

@nusrat5686, who made an exception in her daily routine and went to a traditional market to do her shopping. We were surprised by the variety of fruits that they sell in that place, and she told us about how she chooses some fruits, according to the price and what she can prepare with them. This time she bought jujubi, guavas and China oranges which she beautifully served on a tray.

NOW LET'S GO WITH THE NEW “YOUR VEGGIE SHOPPING”

Within the wide variety of plant foods, there are some that are delicious and very varied and these are GREEN LEAFY VEGETABLES. Whether we use them in salads, in soups, or incorporate them into our recipes as dressings, green leafy vegetables are very valuable in vegan gastronomy. In each country there is a certain variety of these vegetables, which can certainly surprise us. So for this new challenge, corresponding to week 8, we want to go shopping with you, but ONLY TO BUY LEAFY GREEN VEGETABLES. In this post you will not include any other type of food, only GREEN LEAFY VEGETABLES, and we also want you to give us tips for buying and preserving these foods.

CONDITIONS

Only one post per participant will be accepted.
Post must be published in this Plant Power (Vegan) community.
Please be original - no old content and nothing plagiarized! (The post that incurs in plagiarized will be disqualified).

You must appear in at least two (2) photos making your veggie shopping of green leafy vegetables.
The post must have a minimum length of 300 words in English, (it can be a bilingual post too)
You will tell us about GREEN LEAFY VEGETABLES, as we indicated in the paragraph before this section.
You must show your purchases.
