A young police officer was assigned to patrol a remote village. On his first day, he found a drunk who was on top of a power pole. So he called out to him:
“Hey! Come down from there!”
The drunk climbed down from the power pole, and the police officer asked him:
“Who are you?”
And the drunk answered with a surprised expression: “Don't you remember me?”
And the police officer said:
“No, tell me who you are.”
“But really, you don't remember me?”
“I already told you no. I really don't remember you. Tell me who you are.”
“I'm the same one who was up on the pole!”

Un joven policía fue asignado a hacer ronda en un pueblito remoto, en su primer día encontró a un borrachito que estaba arriba de un poste de tendido eléctrico. Así que lo llamó:
— ¡Hey! ¡Bájese de ahí!
El borrachito se baja del poste eléctrico, y el policía le pregunta:
— ¿Quién es usted?
Y le contesta el borrachito con cara de sorpresa: — ¿No te acuerdas de mí?
Y le dice el policía:
— No, dígame quién es usted.
— Pero, ¿en serio que no se acuerda de mí?
— Ya le dije que no. En serio no te recuerdo, dígame quién es.
— ¡Soy el mismo que estaba arriba en el poste de electricidad!
— ¡Hey! ¡Bájese de ahí!
El borrachito se baja del poste eléctrico, y el policía le pregunta:
— ¿Quién es usted?
Y le contesta el borrachito con cara de sorpresa: — ¿No te acuerdas de mí?
Y le dice el policía:
— No, dígame quién es usted.
— Pero, ¿en serio que no se acuerda de mí?
— Ya le dije que no. En serio no te recuerdo, dígame quién es.
— ¡Soy el mismo que estaba arriba en el poste de electricidad!
