A complicated Tuesday + Un martes complicado [Eng+Spa]

I thought it would be a quiet Tuesday… and suddenly I find out about the collapse of the crypto market due to the recent self-coup in South Korea.

I'm from South America, and here we have had countries that have been quite politically unstable, even in recent years. Having cases in which one of the neighboring countries in the region had three presidents in just two years. So an issue like the declaration of Martial Law and the establishment of a de facto government is not something that is unknown to me.

The thing is that I was a little surprised that it happened this way.

And, in addition, the abrupt fall of the market left a very strong impression on me. Well, I guess it was to be expected, after all, I think the South Korean crypto market is at the peak of importance in our reality.

I would like to think that the problem is already improving, I read in the news that the President of South Korea withdrew the declaration of Martial Law, and he may face more problems than he wanted. But still, the consequences of all this problem on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, are going to give us a headache for a while.

Hopefully, the market recovery rebound will happen soon, and the situation will stabilize. I also hope that decentralized exchanges can serve well to deal with the situation. Because this crisis today shows a dangerous weakness in the current crypto asset market.

I can do nothing but hope that everything gets better, and the problems are overcome.

Yo pensaba que sería un martes tranquilo… y me entero de pronto del colapso del cripto mercado por el reciente autogolpe de estado en Corea del Sur.

Soy de Suramérica, y acá hemos tenido países que han sido bastante inestables políticamente, incluso en años recientes. Teniendo casos en los que uno de los países vecinos en la región tuvo tres presidentes en apenas dos años. Así que una cuestión como la declaración de una Ley Marcial y el establecimiento de un gobierno de facto no es algo que me sea desconocido.

La cuestión es que me sorprendí un poco de que ocurriera de esta manera.

Y, además, me dejó una muy fuerte impresión la abrupta caída del mercado. Bueno, supongo que era de esperarse, después de todo, el mercado de cripto de Corea del Sur creo que está en la cúspide de importancia de nuestra realidad.

Me gustaría pensar que el problema ya está mejorando, leí en las noticias que el presidente de Corea del Sur retiró la declaración de la Ley Marcial, y puede que afronte más problemas de los que deseaba. Pero igual, las consecuencias de todo este problema de este martes, 3 de diciembre del 2024, nos va a dar dolor de cabeza por un tiempo.

Ojalá el rebote de recuperación del mercado ocurra pronto y la situación se estabilice. También deseo que las casas de cambio descentralizadas puedan servir bien para afrontar la situación. Porque esta crisis de hoy muestra una peligrosa debilidad en el mercado de cripto activos actuales.

No puedo hacer nada más que desear que todo mejore, y los problemas se superen.
