Omelettes are a simple, quick-to-prepare dish. They're usually my go-to breakfast option. I always prepare them with various vegetable toppings, which I find delicious and packed with vitamins.
This time, I'm going to make a different omelette. While omelets are usually served with cabbage or potatoes, I'm going to make one with my favorite green vegetable: spinach. I'm also adding cheese. I think this will be incredibly delicious and even more savory.
You can also give this dish to your kids because it's delicious, and I'm sure they won't refuse it. However, if you're making it for kids, it's best to chop the vegetables more finely so they can enjoy them.
Aren't you curious about the preparation steps? Let's see the step-by-step instructions below.
Ingredients
1 egg
20 spinach leaves
1 stalk of spring onion
2 bird's eye chilies
1 clove of shallot
1 clove of garlic
Cheddar cheese to taste
Salt to taste
Sufficient stock powder (optional)
Procedure
Blanch the spinach in boiling water briefly until wilted and no longer tender, then set aside.
Chop the chilies, onions, and spring onions finely, then crack the eggs and stir in the salt and stock.
Next, add the roughly chopped spinach to the egg mixture and stir until evenly distributed.
Add the cheese and stir until evenly combined.
Fry in a pan with a little oil, but if you don't want to use oil, that's fine too. Flip by adding it to a plate first and then returning it to the pan.
Result
Very happy, the omelet is ready to be served on a serving plate. The result is truly appetizing. I'm so happy I managed to prepare this dish successfully without breaking it.
The savory flavor is definitely a little spicy, and the cheese texture is very noticeable. I really like the combination, which is different from the usual omelet. The spinach blends well, making this dish truly delicious.
