This is one of my favorite snacks, deep fried with whatever filling you like, chocolate or even palm sugar and also you might like the vegan milk variant. It's true that it's suitable for all the filling variants that you like, I gave the chocolate filling, incidentally because my niece likes it.
Starting from seeing processed food covered with cheese, it inspired me to make the outside look like cheese. But who would have thought the outside I combine it with grated sweet potato. As you know, sweet potato when fried has a crispy texture, so it fits perfectly with the characteristics of the choice that I like in fried dishes.
Speaking of fried foods, Indonesian people themselves really like fried snacks, so fried-based products are a target in my country. Recipes that are prepared by frying are also a target in our area, even now there are so many influencers promoting processed fried foods.
Actually this one snack is not foreign to my area, it's just that many people rarely process it by adding a crispy outer coating. Maybe one of you doesn't like oily food, but if you process it properly by draining the oil, I guarantee that the oil won't stick too much to your food. Or you can use an air fryer or even use an oven to bake to avoid oil.
200 grams of steamed sweet potato
100 grams of grated sweet potato
3 tablespoons of wheat flour
1 tablespoon of cornstarch
1 teaspoon of salt
Chocolate bar to taste (optional)
Crispy sweet potato is ready to be served as a family snack in the afternoon. This snack will definitely be liked by your child at home. You can prepare these snacks for a teatime snack in cold winters that are sure to add a great impression. The taste itself is very good, the natural sweetness of the sweet potato, the soft texture and the crispy outside really make my tongue shake.
So friends, good luck trying this easy and delicious snack at your home. I guarantee you will love this snack, especially if it is served at a family gathering, it will definitely be very delicious.
