This evening, I wanted to explore the area around my new house, especially what will soon be my new city, Montecatini. We live between the industrial area and the city center, so before dark I decided to take a stroll around. Walking through an unfamiliar city is always strange, and living here is, too, for me, given that I've always lived in small mountain or hillside villages. However, the nearby roads are very simple, with lots of businesses like factories and car dealerships, and other large businesses, quite different from the town streets I'm used to. It was strange walking in a place without greenery, woods, or parks. Here, everything is very urban.

Esta noche, quería explorar la zona alrededor de mi nueva casa, especialmente la que pronto será mi nueva ciudad, Montecatini. Vivimos entre la zona industrial y el centro de la ciudad, así que antes de que anocheciera decidí dar un paseo. Caminar por una ciudad desconocida siempre es extraño, y vivir aquí también lo es para mí, dado que siempre he vivido en pequeños pueblos de montaña o en laderas. It's a shame because I'm very fascinated by visiting cemeteries, especially ancient ones. Then I also found an interesting structure, a sort of architectural balloon, which I discovered is actually a sports hall where basketball and soccer games are held. At night, it's quite fascinating, but during the day, it's a bit anonymous. Anyway, it was an interesting walk, although I absolutely must explore the surrounding area, certainly with the help of Google, because I don't know the place well, otherwise I risk getting lost!

En fin, también encontré algunas zonas verdes, una avenida bordeada de cipreses que despertó mi curiosidad. Vi que llevaba a un gran cementerio, pero estaba cerrado. Es una pena, porque me fascina visitar cementerios, sobre todo los antiguos. Luego también encontré una estructura interesante, una especie de globo arquitectónico, que descubrí que en realidad es un pabellón deportivo donde se juegan partidos de baloncesto y fútbol. De noche es bastante fascinante, pero de día pasa un poco desapercibido. En fin, fue un paseo interesante, aunque sin duda debo explorar los alrededores, sobre todo con la ayuda de Google, porque no conozco bien la zona, ¡si no, corro el riesgo de perderme!
