Earlier, I strolled through one of the smaller squares near Via Cimabue—a charming spot surrounded by cafes and lovely flowers. I really like how the city has been spruced up with plants and blooms; it’s a wonderful touch. Then, I continued through the town center, deciding to take a slight detour along streets I’d never walked before—luckily, I’m a curious person who loves exploring new paths! As you can see, I came across so many buildings and hotels adorned with plants that look absolutely stunning. There are also plenty of trees providing shade, and—instead of the usual boring benches—charming little tables and chairs are set up along the street; it’s a great way to make the city feel a bit more elegant and inviting for both tourists and locals.

Hace un rato, recorrí una de las plazas más pequeñas cerca de Via Cimabue, un rincón encantador rodeado de cafeterías y flores preciosas. Me encanta cómo han embellecido la ciudad con plantas y flores; es un detalle maravilloso. As I continued my walk, I came across many lovely hotels—fortunately open and, I hope, full of tourists; they have a somewhat retro style, which is part of their charm. There are also some truly distinctive houses that resemble ancient Greek temples—very elegant, with grand columns—and, of course, plenty of colorful, well-kept homes that lend an air of cheerfulness to the streets. These historic hotels and buildings make the center of Montecatini truly fascinating, and I even managed to spot some delightful details, like a bike with a charming flower-filled basket, as well as beautiful windows and colors. It was a truly pleasant walk; I still have so much to explore in this city, which surely holds great surprises in store.
