With cyclone Alfred sitting just off shore for the last couple of days all the Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast parkruns were cancelled along with all other public events. It crossed my mind to travel West or north but only for a second, staying home and making sure the house was ready was far more important.

The cyclone actually hit land very close to parkrun kickoff time and turned into a tropical low. With plenty of wind and rain outside I opted for some indoor cycling but might try and head out for a bit of a run later.
