A cracked turbo air intake pressure filter. I thought it was going to be a big problem when the mechanic told me, but it turned out to be an easy fix. Just ordered a replacement online, and it got delivered the next day and swapped it out. There are no tools required. Cost about 30 Aud. The crack was hard to see, but they reckon if left and it gets worse, it could cause a bigger problem. The car is getting old, so it felt good to stay on top of a bit of maintenance.
