There is sweetness in finding words. Not just words for the sake of saying something, no. I'm talking about Words with meaning... beyond Words - #WbW.
But there is even more sweetness in putting together those words we find along the way. Because life always has a great message to deliver within the great puzzle of words.
Sound like a tongue twister?
It is not.

Some time ago I wrote a post in which I mentioned an artist who let me into his studio gallery, photograph his works and even gave me a powerful message in words. A message that perhaps that day, when I published the post, touched other people and who knows if from that moment on they re-evaluated some things.
I don't paint for anyone, I paint for me. I wish... (((need)))) to be at peace with myself, happy with myself.
This is a summary of what he told me. I wrote it in my own words. I put the emphasis where I thought he was most emphatic. I really like my written words very much. Not so much the spoken ones. Over time I've stopped talking a bit. Maybe, after some time from now, I simply won't speak at all. Who knows? Maybe, one day, I'll simply stop writing too. Perhaps...
I will always have the words left to speak to myself. And here, finally, Eureka, Universe, I've reached the point. 😄
What I want to say with this post is so simple and leads me to a simple question as well: How do you talk to yourself?
Because I don't know if you are aware of how powerful words are and that you are probably the most important thing in your life. How would you take care of your loved ones if you didn't exist? How would you love if you don't love yourself?
We have a lot of power when we use words and what we can never, ever do is harm ourselves with them.
To hell with Chanel getting into bed. I buy her expensive pills so she doesn't get fleas, ticks or parasites. Besides, she's so cool... and I know how to wash... she washes the clothes, I just put them on the line afterwards.
If you're curious, in the back of the photo where Chanel is on the bed, that's my cycling shoes and socks and my cycling clothes that I'll put on as soon as I finish writing this post. I'm going to try a hill to see if I can get up it faster.
look at those little paws 😍
Still with the words...
Are you aware of the conversations you have with yourself on a daily basis, or what you can say about yourself to others?
Come on, I'm reflecting. I am by no means perfect, I also speak badly to myself sometimes, but it happens that for some time now I have been more awake in this regard, and I can say: ‘No, this is not what I should say’. And I immediately correct it.
Someone very close to me told me, speaking about a new virus, that everyone has this virus, it makes everyone sick. If one person has it, everyone close gets it. These are affirmations...
That's how we have been programmed, unfortunately.
Hasn't anyone tried to affirm something positive? Like, for example, we are healthy people, our bodies are able to put up a barrier to that virus, and we are in good health.
I am beautiful, I am unique, I am capable, I am intelligent, I am responsible, I am a good person, I am kind, I am abundant, I am helpful to others, I am cheerful and people feel joy being around me....
Do you say this to yourself? I'm almost sure you'd rather say bad things to yourself. It's easier or it's part of the programme, of what we see others doing.
And we go on... I'm ugly, I'm lazy, I'm sad, I'm not enough, I'm not good at this or that, what can I offer you if you have everything? And so on... it's a string of affirmations that only generate discomfort and do not allow us to move forward in life. They make us sick, they depress us.
Would you like to share with me this malt and these cookies?
(Do you like to do research? Let's investigate what the Bible says about the words).
Again 👉 Are you aware of everything you say to yourself? This is how we are shaping our life, minute by minute, day after day.
This is #WbW.
