"He who knows the art of living with oneself ignores boredom."
Desiderius Erasmus van Rotterdam

You'll see. Today I'm going to let my words flow, as nancybriti1 says, like ants. Crazy? Maybe. But the truth is that I like to write and today the day woke up gray again and there is a little wind like winter. That winter that we have here in Cuba, what it gives is laughter. Imagine that I'm not even going to climb on the dangerous chair to reach and unpack my coats. It's not laziness, no. I would have to wash them because they have been stored for a long time and although I keep them clean and perfumed, that smell of being like this, prisoners, causes me an allergy. I immediately start sneezing.

Boogers are gross. Oh, what do I say? No one likes to read this in a post.

That's enough! The weather is not for washing clothes.

Well, let's rewind. Forget this. Let's go to the gray day... The day was gray. This seems to be a summary of the week, of everything I've read in Hive, but I didn't take advantage of this pleasant temperature to do squats as LUT, nor did I go to buy the bike that I'm going to give myself just because, because I deserve it. I could have done a hike or an urban exploration of an abandoned railway line like tatdt. Or investigate the water leaks in my neighborhood, count them, inventory them, complain on the phone somewhere, like... I don't remember. In the distance I hear a whistle and a man shouting: the breaaaaaaad. YouTube tells me that I have to reprogram my mind. Astrea has a story that I thought was super funny as soon as I started reading and I laughed... 😂 Because I like papaya. It's true.

By the way, look at how my papaya plantation is doing. I didn't plant them. They went out there on their own.

I took the photos with my phone and did not edit them. It's not laziness, no.

Nature is my ally. And I also remembered that I owe you an update on TereMa I, the hanging pumpkin in the hallway. Unfortunately she doesn't have any sisters yet. However, how it has been growing...! 😋

IMG_20231103_161305.jpg

Oh, what do I say? It's shrunk! 😂

Joke... It's grown, really. I dispelled the myth that if I pointed it out it would fall. But the guide is suffering from her weight and she was going to end up splitting, so I had to put her on an altar. I'm still kidding. It's not boredom, no. The thing is that I want her to gain weight because her destiny is a custard, but I don't want to gain weight myself and these gray days lead me to do things like this.

IMG_20231103_163649.jpg

Coconut custard.

And look if I'm not bored, look what I've been given to put here. A conversation of stickers from custard. What are they saying to each other? One wants the sky to be blue and the other just wants to eat.

IMG_20231103_165322.jpg

Custard is so good... I have to stop. You might be thinking I'm crazy and not bored, but notice that I put it in my clay pots. They will be cold in a few hours. I thought I should make a caramel, like my grandmother Tita used to make it in the dishes for sweets. The caramel was top and I would break it with the spoon and drown it in the custard. When that delicious thing fell into my mouth, I could hear a crack, crack, crack. I had to threaten anggreklestari that I was going to mute her on Hive because whenever I see her posts I get hungry. I was just joking and her post is thoughtful. What I don't joke about though, is my fatness, I don't want it. And the Frontenis courts? They are conspicuous by their absence. Look, this is another thing I could have done today, taking advantage of the nice and cool day, go and take a few shots with the racket. That inspires and makes you let go of the excess energy in your body, the one that drives you to do stupid things and lose respect for you. Respect. I also wanted to write about this. But I don't know where to approach this very important topic.

Custard. It's just that I lose the thread. They're not going to tell me they don't like to eat the scrape.

IMG_20231103_164147.jpg

Well, I do. And especially because it sticks a little bit down, and this is very tasty. Besides, it reminds me again of my grandmother Tita and the milk creams she used to make for us. My sister and I always fought to eat the scrape from the cauldron.

I think I've already exceeded the daily quota of words and nonsense. This is an outlet, or a writing exercise like crazy ants, not angry (bravas) ones, like the ones juliom mentioned in his post yesterday.

Have you ever felt that I'm complaining about something here? Do you think it's boredom that I have?

I wonder if everyone I mentioned in this post, would want me to actually do it...I mean, get the notification.

I'm just shy, even if it doesn't seem like it. And I don't like to importune.
