Greetings friends! Welcome once again to my new post. This time I would like to share with you an illustration that I have called "Mr. Alien".

For days I have been practicing with a new brush, so I've been trying a dot brush called spray brush, which when you make the strokes throws a set of dots, which give the drawing a texture similar to pointillism.

I loved the result when drawing in black and white with this brush and I came up with the idea of making an alien, which I combined with a hat.

¡Saludos amigos! Bienvenidos una vez más a mi nuevo post. En esta oportunidad me gustaria compartirles una ilustración a la que he llamado "Señor Alien".

Desde hace dias venia practicando con un nuevo pincel, asi que estuve probando un pincel de puntos llamado pincel pulverizado, el cual al realizar los trazos arroja un conjunto de puntos, los cuales le dan al dibujo una textura parecida al puntillismo.

Me encantó el resultado al dibujar en blanco y negro con este pincel y se me ocurrió la idea de hacer un alien, al cual combiné con un sombrero.

Process | Proceso

The outline was made with a normal strong brush and for the design I used some AI generated images. Once I had the structure of the alien ready, I simply added a hat.

El delineado lo hice con un pincel fuerte normal y para el diseño me apoyé de algunas imagenes generadas por AI. Una vez que ya tenia lista la estructura del alien, simplemente le agregué un sombrero.

For the coloring process I worked with a white base color, on this base I started to add black dots with the brush sprayed all over the alien's face, making a soft shading.

Para el proceso de coloreado trabajé con una base de color blanco, sobre esta base comencé a agregar puntos negros con el pincel pulverizado por todo el rostro del alien, haciendo un sombreado suave.

Little by little I was making deeper shadows, so I needed to add more dots, giving dimension and shape to the alien's face.

Poco a poco fui haciendo sombras más profundas, por lo que necesité agregar mas puntos, de modo que le diera dimensión y forma al rostro del alien.

Then it was time to make the illumination, for this I used the previous procedure, but this time using the color white.

Luego llegó el momento de hacer la iluminación, para ello usé el procedimiento anterior, pero usando esta vez el color blanco.

To color the hat, I used a black base and then added the lighting details with white.

Para colorear el sombrero, usé una base negra y luego le agregué los detalles de iluminación con el color blanco.

Finally I added a black background and to separate the colors, I made a white glow around the figure of the drawing, then I made some white curves in the background.

Por ultimo le agregué un fondo de color negro y para separar los colores, hice un resplandor blanco alrededor de la figura del dibujo, despues le hice unas curvas blancas de fondo.
