First things first you may have noticed a new banner and PFP for the community. Change is good and it was time for an update, hope you like it!

We have seen an influx of new users, welcome and we are pleased to have you!
We don't have a lot of rules here as long as you are posting your original art.
- The one firm rule we have is about plagiarism or impersonation, if your account is caught doing either of these there will be an insta ban!
Here are are a few tips to keep in mind.
CURATION
- We have our own little curation situation where we may be able to get you a few votes here and there but there is also the whole HIVE userbase who can choose who to vote with their stake. For some general advice to improve your chances we recommend making less short posts and more long posts and giving some context and background for your art. If the votes don't matter to you feel free to post away as much as you like.
- If the art you are posting is using another artists work as a strong inspiration or study etc. it is recommended to cite your sources. This one is a little more of a grey area but it's always a nice thing to do and is good for your credibility.
- If you are new it's worth it to make a post using the tag 'introduceyourself'
as lots of people watch that tag to welcome new users. In this post you can share a bit about yourself, your art and maybe link your other socials. This allow people to easily verify if you are a real human and not some kind of AI apparition :) Speaking of AI...
AI ART
We are very fond of AI art, when used responsibly!!!
All we ask is for full transparency. If you used AI in your creation please disclose it openly in your post, sometimes we come across posts and there are no details about process at all so we are left to guess, is this a digital painting? AI? Collage? If people are unsure they are more likely to skip your post so please help our moderators and all curators on HIVE understand what they are seeing :)
