✨🌼Hola amigos amantes de la creatividad! Espero hayan tenido un buen domingo.🌼✨
¡Buenas tardes, amigos!
✨🌼Hello, fellow creativity lovers! I hope you’ve had a great Sunday.🌼✨
Good afternoon, friends! A few days ago, I had the idea to create a sequence of illustrations. I’m considering using one of them as my profile picture, though I’m not entirely sure yet. I’m really happy with the design, though—I went with an autumnal color palette and gave the girl orange hair, which I absolutely love; I’ve actually given several of my characters this lovely hair color.
So, as I mentioned at the start, I decided to illustrate a sequence: it begins with a smiling girl, continues with her holding a pencil, and concludes with her holding a sign.
🔸Without more to add, then I leave you with the step by step:

Let's start!
🌟 PROCESO | 🌟 PROCESS
✨PASO 1:
✨STEP 1:
I started by creating a new 3000 px x 3000 px canvas. I made some rough sketches of what I had in mind—since it was a sequence, I drew three circles and sketched out my ideas within them, including the final step: the creation of the sign. I wanted to capture different expressions and ensure the bee appeared to be in motion as the scene shifted. Once I had my rough sketches, I set that layer to "multiply" mode at 35% opacity. Below it, I created another layer for the clean, detailed line art. After that, I began testing out my color palette; I only needed to color one of the sketches, as the elements remain consistent across all the images—with the exception of a few details, such as the final sign and the text written on it.
✨PASO 2:
✨STEP 2:
Next, I set up a folder for the background. I took one of the clean sketches, scaled it to the desired size on a new layer within that folder, and used a smooth brush to fill the circle with a grayish-brown tone. On separate layers, I painted the sunflower petals in a mustard yellow and the flower centers in brown. After that, I added the shadows. I used a textured brush to add shading to the center and the petals, employing a darker tone; I also used the same brush to define the petals.
✨PASO 3:
✨STEP 3:
Next, I focused on the main characters: using the same smooth brush, I painted the skin, hair, clothing, the daisy in the hair, and—of course—the bee, along with the trail it leaves behind as it flies. I quickly added shadows using the textured brush, then defined the hair and clothing with fine, linear strokes, while also detailing the ears, nose, eyebrows, blush, and eyes—applying the same process to the bee.
✨PASO 4:
✨STEP 4:
For the next two drawings, I simply created a new folder and copied the base of the figure (including its details). This time, however, I added a hand holding a pencil, along with a touch of "magic" effect—created using that same textured brush—as well as some white circles and the bee’s flight path.
✨PASO 5:
✨STEP 5:
Finally, I repeated the process: I copied and pasted the base figure, but this time I added both hands holding a sign. I refined the outlines, gave the character a new facial expression, wrote the word "creativity," and added a few extra details.
✨And that’s it, friends! And there you have it, friends! I hope you enjoyed the process. I then ran the images through an app to turn them into a GIF, which is how I’m sharing them with you below.
❤️Until the next post.
