Hello, everyone! I am very happy to be sharing a post with you again after such a long time. I have been away dealing with some personal and health issues that I have been going through lately, but now I am back.
This time, I am joining the January art challenge organized by #nftshowroom and #alienarthive whose theme is: MEMORIES
Recently, while organizing my room, I found my old sketchbook, which I had kept for over 10 years. Looking through it, I was filled with memories as I saw the drawings I had made by hand back then, when I had no idea about digital art.
I really liked drawing all kinds of hearts: hearts of love, hearts pierced by arrows, hearts with wings, among others.
And from there, I decided to recreate one of those hearts in the style I've been doing for a long time, pixel art.
I chose this particular drawing because I thought it was very cute, two hearts joined by a ribbon and surrounded by flowers, and despite its simplicity, I feel it has something special.
隆Hola a todos! Me alegra mucho volver a compartir un post con ustedes despu茅s un largo tiempo. Estuve ausente resolviendo algunos asuntos personales y de salud por los que he estado pasando 煤ltimamente, sin embargo ya estoy de regreso.
Esta vez uni茅ndose al reto de arte de enero llevado a cabo por #nftshowroom y #alienarthive cuyo tema es: MEMORIES
Hace poco, mientras organizaba mii habitaci贸n, encontr茅 mi antiguo cuaderno de dibujos, el cual ten铆a guardado hacia m谩s de 10 a帽os. Al revisarlo me llen茅 de recuerdos al ver los dibujos que hac铆a a mano en ese entonces, cuando no ten铆an ni la mas remota idea del arte digital.
Me gustaba mucho dibujar corazones de todo tipo, corazones de amor, atravesados con flechas, corazones con alas, entre otros.
Y partiendo de aqu铆 decid铆 recrear uno de esos corazones al estilo que llevo haciendo por mucho tiempo, el pixel art.
Eleg铆 este dibujo en particular porque me pareci贸 muy tierno, dos corazones unidos por una banda y rodeado de flores y a pesar de su sencillez, siento que tiene algo especial.
The creative process was not very different from that of my other pixelated drawings. I started by creating the sketch, then added a base color, and on top of that base, I added the shadows and highlights.
El proceso creativo no fue muy diferente al de mis otros dibujos pixelados, comenc茅 creando el boceto, luego agregu茅 un color base y sobre est谩 base las sombras y luces.
It didn't turn out exactly like the original, as I ended up adding a couple of extra flowers and leaves, and I made it in color. I just hope you like it!
No qued贸 id茅ntico al original, ya que le termin茅 a帽adiendo un par de flores y hojas extras, adem谩s de que lo hice a color. 隆Solo espero que les guste!
