Hi, today I present my latest drawing, a drawing I made on a little piece of paper I found, and it's inspired by Woolio. It's a creature I like a lot because it has the shape of a flower, more specifically, a sunflower, and it's yellow. Personally, I really enjoy coloring things yellow. For my drawing I wanted to convey that glow of a creature of light, so I added many colors and natural elements like flowers and green leaves. As materials, I'll be using paper, a pencil, and markers.
Hola, hoy les presento mi último dibujo, un dibujo que hice en un pedacito de papel que encontré y está inspirado en Woolio. Es una criatura que me gusta mucho porque tiene forma de flor, más bien de girasol, y es de color amarillo. En lo personal me gusta mucho colorear cosas de color amarillo. Para mi dibujo quise transmitir ese brillo de una criatura de la luz, por lo que agregué muchos colores y elementos naturales como flores y hojas verdes. Como materiales estaré usando papel, un lápiz y marcadores.
Starting from the blank sheet, my drawing began by tracing a circle to which I added the character's eyes, mouth, and nose. I also drew the wool around the head.
Partiendo de la hoja en blanco, mi dibujo comenzó trazando un círculo al que le agregué los ojos, la boca y la nariz del personaje. También le dibujé la lana alrededor de la cabeza.
The next step was to trace the drooping ears, and around the whole face forming a circumference, the petals that make up part of the body. I used a square to delimit the composition and begin drawing the natural elements.
El siguiente paso fue trazar las orejas caídas, y alrededor de toda la cara, formando una circunferencia, los pétalos que hacen de parte del cuerpo. Utilicé un cuadrado para delimitar la composición y comenzar a dibujar los elementos naturales.
After I finished the entire sketch of the character, I began with color using markers and adding details.
Después de que terminé con todo el boceto del personaje, comencé con el color usando marcadores y agregando detalles.
When I had the character completely colored, I used a ballpoint pen to go over the outer lines of the character, and I began coloring the background with different shades of green and red for the little flowers.
Cuando tuve el personaje completamente coloreado, usé un bolígrafo para repasar las líneas del exterior del personaje, y comencé a colorear el fondo con distintos tonos de verde y rojo para las pequeñas flores.
I finished by taking my drawing digital to add some corrections and increase the paper textures. I really enjoyed drawing this character, and it had been a long time since I drew anything with markers just for fun. I hope to bring this kind of colorful and fun drawings to my blog more often, and not just tutorial drawings. Thanks for joining me for another day of drawing.
Terminé llevando mi dibujo a digital para agregarle algunas correcciones y aumentar las texturas del papel. Me gustó mucho dibujar este personaje, y hacía mucho que no dibujaba nada con marcadores solo por diversión. Espero poder traer más seguido este tipo de dibujos coloridos y divertidos a mi blog, y no solo dibujos de tutoriales. Gracias por acompañarme un día más dibujando.
