Spring conference in a forest. My Actifit Report Card: March 21 2023

Although I can clearly see signs of the spring, the forest, where I do my morning walks, is still is coming our from winter mode very slowly.

This said, its winged inhabitants are already very busy with spring business. When I walked the forest at 7am, birds were discussing very important topics:

• with whom to lay eggs,
• who has already returned from warm countries and who is still missing,
• which nests need repairs,
• which trees suffered during the winter and should be avoided,
• have anyone seen winged or 4-legged predators,
• etc

I didn’t interfere, my human advice would be of little use to the birds. I will go tomorrow even earlier, perhaps I can overhear more details.
