Chicken feet is one of a popular delicacies in Indonesia. It is often served inside a chicken soup or simply as a fried chicken snack. However, these days, chicken feet is often served with spicy sauces. It gains its popularity these days thanks to K-drama; in South Korea, there is a pairing called "Chimaek" a savory chicken feet with beer. I would have to agree that both is a great guilty pleasure pairing.
In Indonesia, chicken feet can be found even in an upscale market. They are neatly packaged and cleaned compared to at traditional market. So, if you are the type of person who likes it neat and clean, get them from supermarkets. I would have to tell you though, there's not much meat that you can eat but it has its own enjoyment. So, if you have never tried, you probably should. Without further adieu, let's get into the cooking lab!

In the past, I always get fried chicken feet from local fast-food chains. I really like the savory taste and the weirdness that comes from eating it. I think that chicken feet can seem disgusting to some but it's really a good delicacies when it is cooked properly.
The last time I got chicken feet was a week ago. I got 5 chicken feet for 1.3$ which was extremely expensive. Taste wise, it was great and the presentation was good. But, it was still too much. So, that motivates me to try making them on my own. As expected, it turned out to be exactly like what I bought and at cheaper price. I ate that chicken feet with cold iced coffee. It was also a great pairing but again, much better if you can wash it down with a stout or a draft beer.
Let me know if you want to make that chicken feet! also let me know what you think of it, do you think chicken feet is too disgusting to eat? 😀
