Hello everyone!
This time I come with another super easy recipe, called cake 1234, but I adapted it to make a cake, using a special mold to give that shape.
Ingredients:
1 cup of butter.
2 cups of sugar.
3 cups of wheat flour.
4 eggs.
1 cup of liquid (can be juice or milk).
1 tablespoon baking powder.
3 tablespoons of cocoa powder.
Vanilla to taste.
Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 350º.
Apply butter and flour to the cake mold.
Separate the whites and yolks.
Beat the egg whites until stiff with 2 tablespoons of sugar. Reserve.
Beat the butter with the rest of the sugar until cream, then add the yolks 1 in 1 and finish with the vanilla. Then add the sifted flour with the baking powder and the milk, alternating, do not overcook the mixture.
Separate ¼ of the mixture and add the cocoa together with a little milk or coffee.
Place the mixture in the mold on the part, part of vanilla and part of chocolate
Bake at 350º for 40 minutes. Do not open the oven.
Tips
When the flour and milk are added, the mixture is beaten until it looks homogeneous, it should not be overbalanced since this makes it heavy and some parts are not cooked.
The coffee that is added enhances the flavor of cocoa.
There are different ways to add the mixtures, it can be in several equal parts in the center giving an appearance zebra at the end. It can also be a part of vanilla, then the chocolate and with a toothpick we give it shape, we add vanilla and finish it with chocolate giving it new lines with a toothpick.
You can decorate with powdered sugar.
I left a bit of the mixture, I joined them and made some cupcakes.
