Renovando nuestra cocina: un d铆a de limpieza y pintura 馃彔馃帹 [Esp-Eng]
Hola a todos los miembros de esta comunidad y de Hive en general. Quiero compartir con ustedes la experiencia que vivimos hace unos meses cuando mi esposo, mis suegros y yo decidimos mudarnos a un nuevo apartamento. Despu茅s de un tiempo viviendo all铆, notamos que era necesario darle una buena limpieza y un retoque de pintura, ya que las paredes no estaban en las mejores condiciones.
Hello to all the members of this community and Hive in general. I want to share with you the experience we had a few months ago when my husband, my in-laws, and I decided to move to a new apartment. After living there for a while, we noticed that it was necessary to give it a good cleaning and a touch-up of paint, as the walls were not in the best condition.
Sin dudarlo, mi suegra y yo decidimos comenzar por la cocina, ya que pasamos la mayor parte del tiempo en esa 谩rea. Empezamos quitando todos los vasos y platos que ten铆amos como decoraci贸n en una repisa y los lavamos a fondo, ya que hab铆an acumulado mucho polvo al estar all铆 sin uso.
Without hesitation, my mother-in-law and I decided to start with the kitchen, as we spent most of our time in that area. We began by removing all the glasses and plates we had as decoration on a shelf and washed them thoroughly, as they had accumulated a lot of dust from being there unused.
Mientras tanto, mi suegro se encarg贸 de pintar poco a poco todas las paredes de la cocina. Elegimos un color marfil que brindaba una sensaci贸n de claridad y limpieza muy agradable.
Meanwhile, my father-in-law took care of painting all the walls in the kitchen little by little. We chose an ivory color that provided a very pleasant feeling of clarity and cleanliness.
El cambio era evidente, la cocina luc铆a completamente renovada y acogedora.
Una vez terminada la pintura, colocamos todo en su lugar y nos dedicamos a limpiar a fondo la encimera y el piso para eliminar cualquier rastro de pintura. Fue un d铆a muy productivo y gratificante. Aunque a煤n nos quedan otras 谩reas de la casa por pintar, ver la transformaci贸n de nuestra cocina nos motiv贸 para seguir embelleciendo nuestro hogar.
The change was evident, the kitchen looked completely renewed and cozy.
Once the painting was finished, we put everything back in its place and dedicated ourselves to thoroughly cleaning the countertop and the floor to eliminate any trace of paint. It was a very productive and rewarding day. Although we still have other areas of the house to paint, seeing the transformation of our kitchen motivated us to continue beautifying our home.
