隆Hola a todos los lectores! Hoy quiero contarles sobre la peque帽a renovaci贸n que hicimos en nuestro hogar. Esta ma帽ana, mi suegra y yo nos dirigimos a las tiendas en busca de un centro de mesa.
Hello to all readers! Today I want to tell you about the small renovation we did in our home. This morning, my mother-in-law and I went to the stores in search of a centerpiece.
Decidimos darle un toque caoba a nuestra mesa de comedor, ya que estaba un poco rayada y no luc铆a tan bien como quer铆amos. Despu茅s de recorrer varias tiendas, finalmente encontramos el centro de mesa perfecto: dos elegantes bolas en blanco y negro que contrastaban a la perfecci贸n con el color marfil de las paredes de nuestro comedor.
We decided to give our dining table a mahogany touch, as it was a bit scratched and didn't look as good as we wanted. After visiting several stores, we finally found the perfect centerpiece: two elegant black and white balls that contrasted perfectly with the ivory color of the walls in our dining room.
El precio fue de aproximadamente 1700 pesos cubanos, lo que equival铆a a unos 4.78 d贸lares seg煤n el cambio vigente en nuestro pa铆s. Al regresar a casa, nos pusimos manos a la obra y pintamos la mesa con el tono caoba que hab铆amos elegido. Fue un proceso divertido y gratificante ver c贸mo la mesa iba transform谩ndose poco a poco.
The price was approximately 1700 Cuban pesos, which was about 4.78 dollars according to the current exchange rate in our country. When we returned home, we got to work and painted the table with the mahogany tone we had chosen. It was a fun and rewarding process to see how the table was slowly transforming.
Ahora solo nos queda esperar pacientemente a que la pintura se seque por completo para poder colocar el nuevo centro de mesa y admirar el resultado final.
Now we just have to patiently wait for the paint to dry completely so we can place the new centerpiece and admire the final result.

Tambi茅n estamos considerando cambiar las cortinas del comedor por unas m谩s ligeras que permitan entrar m谩s luz natural durante el d铆a. De igual manera estamos considerando renovar la iluminaci贸n de la sala de estar. Estamos buscando l谩mparas modernas que brinden una luz c谩lida y acogedora para crear un ambiente m谩s relajante por las noches. Creemos que estos detalles har谩n que nuestro hogar se sienta a煤n m谩s acogedor y lleno de vida.
We are also considering changing the dining room curtains to lighter ones that allow more natural light to come in during the day. Likewise, we are considering renovating the living room lighting. We are looking for modern lamps that provide warm and cozy light to create a more relaxing atmosphere in the evenings. We believe these details will make our home feel even cozier and more lively.
