What keeps me here on Hive?
At first I had no understanding of Hive.
For me it was another digital currency which you purchase through Binance with the expectation that its value will rise in the future. The system felt remote to me because it presented technical data as digital content which lacked any substantial value.
After that my boyfriend and I began to investigate different things.
We found games such as Splinterlands and CropBytes. The first stage of our exploration focused on discovering new things to test our system through card collection while we learned each system function. The shared experience brought us both enjoyment but I still needed to comprehend Hive in its entirety.
I was exploring different places.
His simple statement about writing through which people could generate income from their work transformed my entire life.
The sentence occupied my thoughts for an extended period.
Writing? Earning? From just posting thoughts?
The concept appeared too straightforward to exist in reality. My curiosity led me to investigate the situation which I found in front of me.
I made multiple attempts to complete the task.
I continued my writing activities which I conducted through multiple online posts. I acquired new information through my writing activities which I conducted to comprehend this particular field. I worked consistently despite my uncertainty about the outcome because I needed to understand the situation better.
More than 100 posts later…
I finally checked my account more seriously.
And there it was.
My first payout: $60.
I froze.
The situation developed into two opposing outcomes which occurred at two separate speeds. The results appeared after I completed the necessary work and waited for the required duration while continuing to work for multiple times.
I stayed frozen in place for a long time while I kept my eyes fixed on the display which I refreshed repeatedly to confirm that I had not created a false memory. The money did not cause my heart to race because of its material value. The money created a heartbeat in me because I recognized its deep emotional significance.
I smiled while showing my boyfriend my reaction to the situation because I found it hard to believe. I received my first scam experience
I asked "Is this real?"
Everything changed when the moment occurred.
Somebody had read my written work. Someone had recognized its worth. My regular actions developed into an actual achievement.
The transformation occurred during that particular time.
I reached the point where I stopped watching content on Hive. I became an active participant because I engaged in content creation. I controlled my creative process through my drafting activities.
My initial reason for joining the platform was blogging.
The content I created started to gain significance which made me continue my work.
My posts remain visible because they build their worth through time until they become permanent elements which show all my work on the blockchain.
Hive provided me only with a platform to use for my activities.
My creative work received its worth through that platform.
The platform turned my habitual behavior into a significant achievement. The platform transformed my creative output into a process that could develop over time.
The platform offers me benefits through its financial returns and its technological features but my actual reason for remaining here lies beyond those two aspects.
People make the difference.
The comments create warm feelings through their ordinary interactions. The people who start as unfamiliar become friends through their supportive words. The platform allows you to express yourself which will be heard by others who will receive your message.
Online platforms provide that type of experience but it exists in limited supply.
Hive operates as a platform which users visit to share content before moving on to other activities.
Your vocal expression maintains its existence within this space.
The platform lets you create your own content through your writing activities.
Hive provides users with a unique experience which enables them to share their focus because their attention remains controlled by social media.
Users receive three elements which include Ownership. Value. Voice.
This reason causes me to stay.
