Kazza Pot and Kettle
So today we visited a restaurant that is literally 5 minutes away from my home. For some reason I hardly ever visit this establishment compared to those that are further away. It is one of the more beautifully designed places in my area and is an absolute pleasure to eat at. It is a popular spot for the local Instagramers and you will soon see why.
It is easy to see why it is a hot spot for young and old people alike with the beautiful decor peppered with sparkling chandeliers and nixsy bulbs. There is a college nearby and it is usually populated by college students having an nice posh breakfast or just getting hot drinks before school in the morning. The color palette chosen for the place from the walls to the furniture make it awesome for photography as you will soon see.
We first got our hot beverages which were served elegantly and simply. I got earl grey tea while my friend got a caramel macchiato. Both had a simplicity and beauty to the aesthetic along with the surroundings.
The Macchiato.
The Earl Grey tea
What was a cool thing about the tea is that unlike other places, it was brewed and steeped then brought to the table without any messy and dripping tea bags! It certainly is a hassle and mess to have to remove the teabag before the tea is over steeped and the drink is too strong. It was extremely convenient and I loved that about the place. Perfectly steeped tea and you never have to fiddle with the dripping messy tea bags.
This is me by the way. I just love the light and how it interacts with the milk here.
The food was also amazing! There was a nice small menu and we ordered a few things just to try them out. We got the chicken panini, the scrambled eggs with toast, cream cheese crepes and chicken and waffles.
The Chicken panini was amazingly good with fresh veges, a properly cooked and juicy chicken breast and mozzarella cheese. The bread was well toasted and overall, the sandwich was well balanced in flavour.
The chicken and waffles were just as one would expect of the american dish. The chicken was well seasoned and fried perfectly crispy and was not overcooked. Everything was fresh and delicious. I'm going to assumed you know what waffles taste like with syrup!
The eggs with toast was also well done. The only thing though is that the server said that there was only white bread and whole wheat on the menu. The thing is that we got brioche bread instead! How peculiar! It is a yellow bread for those of you who may not know! Never the less the eggs were perfectly cooked and delicious!
The crepes with cream cheese were as you would expect and was simple yet tasty! No complaints.
A Great Breakfast/ Brunch Place
The food was awesome and well done. We sampled a great range of foods that would have determined if the cooks of the establishment were capable and boy were they! The chicken was not dry and over cooked but tender and juicy while the eggs were cooked to perfection, silky and buttery! We were definitely satisfied with such a brilliant breakfast!
