“Give me the phone,” Anna said, looking at Luke with pain in her eyes.
He replied, “No, I won’t. Why do I feel interrogated?”
She replied, “Only the guilty will feel interrogated. But know that you’re not under suspicion. Just hand me the damn phone.”
Luke looked at her sternly for a few seconds. Without saying another word, he turned and walked away.
Anna became furious. She slammed the door behind him, but the door caught his coat as it closed. Luke tried to pull himself free, but the coat was stuck.
He called out to her, but she did not answer. Growing frustrated, he forcefully pulled at the coat until it tore.
He became angry with her and began saying some nasty words and curses. His anger quickly turned into frustration, and he told her that he was tired of everything that had happened between them.
“I'm done with this relationship ,” he said angrily.
Anna stood there in silence, still furious, but the moment the door closed behind him, she began to realize how far the argument had gone.
