Gladys has always been a good girl. Everyone in her class knows she does not steal. However, that fateful day Gladys name was mentioned in the school assembly as one that had stolen money from the office of their head teacher. She was requested to report at the principal's office immediately after the devotion. Everyone was surprised to her her name mentioned including Gladys herself.
Once the students dismissed from the general Assembly that morning Gladys in company of her friend Kate quietly went to the office of the principal to know her fate.
When they got there another girl also bearing Gladys was also present at the office. Her classmates had identified her as the culprit. Gladys and her friend explained their reason for coming to the office.
The principal apologized to her for the mix up and told her to leave as she was not under suspicion.
Gladys and Kate were happy as they left the principal's office for their class. In class she managed to tell her close friends that she was not under suspicion anymore as the principal had seen the culprit.
