Emeka was a brilliant student, but he was not very resilient. Whenever things went wrong, he felt defeated and wanted to quit.
During a mathematics examination, he failed to answer several questions. He felt ashamed and promised never to participate in another examination.
His teacher noticed his disappointment and encouraged him to try again. However, Emeka struggled to believe in himself.
Every afternoon, his teacher helped him practise difficult questions. Although he made mistakes, he slowly improved.
One day, the school announced a mathematics competition. Emeka wanted to withdraw because he feared failure, but he remembered his teacher's advice and decided to participate.
To his surprise, he came third in the competition. His classmates cheered, and his teacher congratulated him.
Emeka realised that his greatest enemy was not mathematics but his fear of failure. He began to face challenges with courage and determination.
