“Somewhere under the rainbow/Where I live/I don't know where the pot is/But I have love to give...”

Seven-year-old Amanda Ludlow was singing a song she didn't quite know, but...

“She still gets it,” Mrs. Gladys Jubilee Trent said as her little neighbor went singing across the Trent yard and hugging Mrs. Jubilee Trent's grandchildren eleven-year-old Velma, nine-year-old Milton, and eight-year-old Gracie.

“Yep,” Mrs. Melissa Trent said with a smile at her mother-in-law. “Amanda is a very special child … a heart of gold beats a pot every day.”

“The other thing is, while all of the Ludlow grands are musical, I wonder if Amanda will bud as a songwriter because she does this all the time,” Mrs. Jubilee Trent said.

Mrs. Trent laughed.

“Give Amanda half a piece of a song, and she will give you a new one for free,” she said, “and her adjustments are so adorable.”

Mrs. Jubilee Trent laughed.

“Remember last week when Amanda took on 'YMCA'?”

Mrs. Trent started laughing as she recalled...

“Why me today – doo doo, doo doo, doo doo doo – why me today?/Eddie's just out the door/And she's breaking bad more/And's she gonna break up George and throw him down on the floor!”

“And Gracie prayed over a bottle of water and went right over there,” Mrs. Jubilee Trent said. “And that's what I mean: Amanda communicates with her adjustments! That's what I'm saying – that's a songwriter!”
