In the 2018 Lamborghini Huracan Performante at Plaza Circuit, I started 8th and quickly fought my way to the front through Guanajuato's tight, rising streets.
A few rough drifts and rewinds tested my control, but I held the lead by the second lap. With clean racing afterward, I crossed the finish first in 4:44.
Today, it's about the 2018 Lamborghini Huracan Performante in Plaza Circuit.
Plaza Circuit
You start off blasting down a main road before diving into the suburbs of Guanajuato. The track rises and falls with plenty of tight corners and tricky sections, keeping you on your toes from start to finish.
It's a 3-lap event where I started racing in 8th position.
I didn't check the other racers at the beginning like I usually do, as I was interested in checking out the speed of this car, so I kept driving, or I'd say chasing the racers in front of me, and that's when I noticed the same car as mine (in a different color) tried to overtake me at a hard turn.
Nein, I didn't let her overtake me.
I kept driving, and that's where I overtook my first opponent to reach the 7th position. Then I overtook three more racers one by one, and I reached the third position in a short time.
I was on the trail of the first two racers then, but I messed it up with a hard drift at a hard turn. I was slowed down, but I didn't let any racer overtake me. Yeah, I blocked the way.
I was at a good speed again, and I was about to overtake the first two racers, but I missed the checkpoint there in trying, so I had to use the rewing feature.
I didn't mess up with my second try, and then I overtook the first two racers one by one at two different checkpoints.
I messed it up really badly when I was overtaking the first racer, with a hard drift. My car took a U-turn, and some racers went ahead of me.
I had to try another rewind.
I had to overtake the first racer again after the mess-up situation, and I had to wait till I finished the first lap.
The first racer tried hard to overtake me again, but I didn't let her, and I kept leading them till finishing the second lap.
I knew those racers with supercars were so serious about overtaking me, so I tried a clean race for the rest of the event.
And I couldn't see any racers behind me when I was hitting the finishing line, as I was too ahead of them already, and I finished first at 4:44 minutes.
I was rewarded with a 1969 #6 Penske Sunoco Lola for unlocking Road Racing's Biggest Fan badge, and I won a 2012 John Cooper Works GP from a wheelspin.
