Restarting at the checkpoint, I returned to the chamber to cleanse the siphons, using my Service Revolver to clear enemies from high ground. After an unseen explosive round killed me again while I was targeting a levitating enemy, I respawned and shifted to a far more aggressive tactic to eliminate the floating target first.
Restarting from the last checkpoint, my objective was to cleanse the siphons once again while taking extra care to avoid dying this time around.
Upon reaching the area, it was a relief to discover that the previously cleansed siphons remained clear. This saved me a significant amount of effort, avoiding the need to redo the entire process from the very beginning.
My primary task remained getting to the specific siphon where my previous run had met a fatal end. As I drew closer to the location, several enemy soldiers were already waiting and opened fire.
Rather than rushing in, I planned to handle the situation cleanly by picking off an enemy from a distance using the Service Revolver. The soldier went down easily, clearing an opening for me to advance.
From high ground, I spotted additional enemy soldiers further out. Before moving into the main area, I made an effort to thin their ranks with the Service Revolver. However, the enemies took cover, and a sudden misstep caused me to fall to the lower ground.
I had to take quick action to climb back up to the higher vantage point, regaining control of the situation to avoid getting overwhelmed.
Upon regaining the high ground, I located the enemy soldier who had caused my fatal collapse in the previous run. Using their body as leverage to strike another incoming threat, I continued the fight with a much more cautious strategy.
Instead of jumping directly into the middle of the squad, I maintained my distance to thin out the enemy numbers.
During the firefight, a junior operative soldier became my primary focus, but a floating enemy soldier hovering close by began dealing heavy damage with massive obstacles.
With my health dropping dangerously low, I made a risky move and dropped to the lower ground in search of health crystals.
After retrieving the crystals, my main priority shifted immediately to eliminating the floating enemy. Because the floating target moved far too quickly for standard launch projectiles, I drew the Service Revolver to land precise shots.
Just as I brought the Service Revolver up to finish the floating target, an explosive round was fired from an unseen attacker. The explosion landed directly on target, resulting in another immediate death at the same spot.
Respawning back at the checkpoint once more, I adopted a heightened level of caution for the next attempt. From a safe distance, I locked onto the target enemy soldier and eliminated them with ease before advancing onto the site.
Crossing over to the other side, my patience began to wear thin, prompting a shift into a much more aggressive combat approach. This time, I placed my focus entirely on eliminating the floating enemy first before it could disrupt the fight any further.
