The Felines Rest
On my frequent Saturday walks to the park, I've seen my friends. As I stroll through its grounds, I often find them resting, and it's become common to see them reclining in the foliage, basking in the sun's warmth. They know every corner of the park and every spot where the sun peeks out in the morning, whether perched atop a wall or nestled in the shade of the trees. Although they remain still and appear to be in a deep sleep, leading us to believe they are undisturbed, this is not the case; they are always vigilant.

El Descanso De Los Felinos
En los constantes paseos sabatinos al parque, he visto a mis amigos. Al caminar por sus espacios, suelo encontrarlos en períodos de descanso y ya se ha vuelto común observarlos recostados en el follaje recibiendo el calor del sol; ellos conocen cada rincón del parque y conocen cada punto por donde se asoma el sol en la mañana, encima de algún muro o arropados bajo las sombras de los árboles. Because the park has its own rhythm, its staff is always active; however, those of us who come to work with the pack provide them with a loving and secure environment. They, in turn, are the silent guardians, yet they remain vigilant in the presence of people, watching from the stone benches as if they were protecting the harmony of the place.
Como el parque tiene su propio ritmo, su personal siempre está activo; sin embargo, los que venimos a colaborar con la manada le procuramos un lugar lleno de afecto y le damos seguridad. Ellos a su vez son los guardianes mudos, pero que permanecen activos ante la presencia de las personas, vigilando desde los bancos de piedra como si estuvieran cuidando la armonía del lugar.
These lovely felines also show affection towards people who come to the park going through difficult times, such as loneliness, work stress, or something else that's troubling them. During these moments of solitude, a cat will wander around and, without invading the person's space, will be friendly, purring or rubbing against their body; with just that warm gaze, they connect, creating a sense of closeness with the human, reciprocating the affection, or simply bringing a smile to their face.
También estos lindos felinos tienen un comportamiento afectivo hacia aquellas personas que vienen al parque atravesando momentos difíciles, como de soledad o estresados por el trabajo, o algo que los atormenta. En esos ratos de soledad, algún felino merodea el lugar y, aunque no le invade el espacio a la persona, se muestran amistosos, ronroneando o rosando su cuerpo; tan solo con esa mirada cálida se conectan, logrando la cercanía hacia el humano, logrando la reciprocidad del afecto o logrando sacar una sonrisa a la persona.
They become true furry friends, making people feel accompanied in that natural refuge, and in one way or another, people release their stress. Today has been special; the day has been very cool, and the cats' rest was quite healthy for them, since their nights are very active.
Se convierten en verdaderos amigos peludos, logrando que las personas se sientan acompañadas en ese refugio natural y de una manera u otra la gente libera su estrés. Hoy ha sido especial; el día ha estado muy fresco y el descanso de los mininos fue bastante saludable para ellos, ya que sus jornadas nocturnas son de mucha actividad.
