Everyone’s Friends
While taking a morning walk to the bakery near my home, I ran into these little friends who are always up early— These are the cats that were once simply stray felines, whose lives had been left to fate as a sign of human cruelty. But over time, new generations have found in their hearts a glimmer of humanity that seemed long gone, and that’s how, little by little, these kittens became everyone’s pets.

Los Amigos de Todos
Mientras realizaba una caminata matutina hacia la panadería que queda cerca de mi residencia, me encontré con estos amiguitos que no paran de madrugar, se trata de los gatos que al principio eran simples felinos callejeros, cuyas vidas habían sido dejadas al destino como una muestra de crueldad humana, pero que con el pasar del tiempo las nuevas generaciones han encontrado en su corazón un rayo de humanidad que parecía muerto y es así como poco a poco estos gatitos se convirtieron en las mascotas de todos.
In some parts of Caracas, people are beginning to value the lives and well-being of community pets, and that’s how these kittens receive the love they so desperately need from the owners of local businesses, who have adopted them and turned them into truly adorable creatures. Gone are the days when these cats lived in fear and distress, hunting to survive and simply weathering the hardships of fate. Now they have a safe place to sleep, the freedom to roam, the assurance that they won’t reproduce uncontrollably, and the certainty that food will always be available.
En algunos sectores de Caracas se comienza a valorar la vida y el bienestar de las mascotas comunitarias y es así como estos gatitos reciben el amor que tanto necesitan entre los dueños de los locales comerciales, quienes los han adoptado y han hecho de ellos unas criaturas realmente adorables. Va atrás la época en donde estos felinos vivían entre el miedo y la angustia, cazando para sobrevivir y simplemente sorteando las dificultades del destino. Ahora tienen un espacio seguro donde dormir, libertad para caminar, certeza de que no se reproducirán de manera descontrolada y la veracidad de que la comida siempre estará servida.
Maybe it’s just a matter of four lucky cats, in the midst of a cruel and even utopian world, but the truth is that they lead a different kind of life, and that becomes the starting point for a dream in which humanity begins to value the lives of these incredible creatures—who possess a noble soul, an innocent spirit, and unwavering loyalty.
Quizás solo se trata de cuatro gatos afortunados, en medio de un mundo cruel e incluso utópico, pero la verdad es que tienen una vida diferente y eso se convierte en el punto de partida para un sueño en donde la humanidad comienza a valorar la vida de estas increíbles criaturas, las cuales tienen un alma noble, un espíritu inocente y una fidelidad manifiesta.
When we treat nature well, it rewards us with positive energy, love, and well-being. Because the truth is that we are all part of the same world—perhaps living different realities, but ultimately making decisions that affect many.
Cuando nosotros nos portamos bien con la naturaleza, ella nos recompensa en energías positivas, amor y bienestar. Porque la verdad es que todos somos parte de un mismo mundo, quizás viviendo realidades diferentes, pero a fin de cuentas tomando decisiones que afectan a muchos.
