A Perfect Park to Enjoy
One way to discover the details of nature is by photographing it in black and white; in this way, we notice the most grotesque forms of its structures, especially in the walls or cliffs enclosed in mud and stones. Such is the case of this park, formed by rocky mountains at the foot of Ávila, enveloped in vegetation, stones, and a torrent of river that cascades down to delight us. Offering us an extraordinary and mysterious landscape, this day was wonderful, capturing many images of nature deep in the forest for the #monomad challenge.

Un Parque Perfecto Para Disfrutar Una manera de descubrir los detalles de la naturaleza es cuando la fotografiamos en blanco y negro; en ella notamos las formas más grotescas de sus estructuras, especialmente en las murallas o paredones encerrados en barro y piedras. Como es el caso de este parque, formado por montañas pedregosas al pie del Ávila, envuelto en vegetación, piedras y un torrente de río que baja en cascada para deleitarnos. Ofreciéndonos un paisaje extraordinario y a la vez misterioso, este día fue maravilloso, poder captar muchas imágenes de la naturaleza en pleno bosque para el reto #monomad.
The steep staircases and their various shortcuts beckon us to climb to the summit. As we explore, we observe eroded structures with highly irregular shapes, displaying a natural beauty marked by time, where wind and water are ever-present. The vegetation adapts to these changes, exhibiting diverse curves and textures, clinging to the environment and clinging to the walls to avoid being torn away. In these places, the dense foliage makes it impossible to penetrate the intricate network of branches.
Las empinadas escaleras y sus diferentes atajos nos invitan a subir hasta la cima; mientras que exploramos, observamos estructuras erosionadas con formas muy irregulares, que muestran una belleza natural marcada por el tiempo, donde el viento y el agua hacen presencia constantemente. La vegetación se adecúa a estos cambios y se muestra con curvas y contexturas diferentes, adaptándose al medio y queriendo adherirse a sus paredes para no separarse. En estos parajes, el follaje hace imposible penetrar a los entramados ramales.
On some walls, wrought iron railings stand out, remnants of long paths now lost to time. My visit to the park was thrilling; the abundant vegetation and trails leading to rock formations I dared to explore allowed me to fully appreciate the place. The majestic waterfall, with its constant murmur, filled me with excitement, while at the same time, the surroundings exhilarated me with a sense of tranquility and peace.
En algunos muros sobresalen barandas hechas en hierro forjado labradas, que una vez fueron las escoltas de largas sendas que quedaron en el pasado. De manera que mi visita al parque fue emocionante; encontrar abundante vegetación, caminos que te conducían a formaciones rocosas que me atreví a desafiar, me permitió disfrutar plenamente el lugar. La regia cascada con su rumor permanente por la caída del agua me llenaba de entusiasmo y a la vez se sentía tranquilidad y paz generada por el mismo ambiente.
The river, formed by the cascading water, flows between the rocks, creating pools and accompanying you with its sound; the sun appeared from time to time, adorning the paths with its shadows on the paving stones. And the immense trees divided the path, inviting us to take different routes; the park, with all its elements, resembles a museum with its own natural architecture, save for a few structures adapted to the park and designed for a more comfortable stay.
El río que se conforma por la caída del agua, fluye entre las rocas formando pozos y te acompañan con su sonido; el sol aparecía de vez en cuando para adornar los caminos con la sombra en los pavimentos. Y los inmensos árboles dividían la senda para desviarnos; el parque con todos sus elementos parece un museo con su propia arquitectura natural, salvo algunas construcciones adaptadas al parque y adecuadas para una mejor estadía.
For me, this space represents a perfect natural refuge that connects you with the environment, makes you reflect on the importance of caring for and protecting our natural resources, and is a place where all living beings have the opportunity to enjoy and adapt to it. Para mí, este espacio representa un abrigo natural perfecto que te conecta con el medio ambiente, que te hace recapacitar sobre la importancia de cuidar y proteger nuestros recursos naturales y que es un lugar donde todos los seres vivos tienen la oportunidad de disfrutarlos y de adaptarse a él.
