Hello, dear friends at Creative Cuisine.
I’m so happy about the warm welcome you’ve given me in this wonderful community. It makes me very happy and fulfills me to share with you my love of cooking and my desire to learn. A few days ago, I posted on Hive telling you that I signed up for a baking class that I attend on Monday and Tuesday evenings.

During the first class, our instructor Ana encouraged us to experiment in the kitchen to get to know the ingredients well, select the best ones, and thus “commit” to the brands that guarantee high-quality products. She also gave us handouts with measurements and techniques for making different types of light sponge cakes.

So this past Sunday, I got to work at home to make one that really caught my eye: Blender Cake. Here’s how I made it:

Ingredients:
· 2 cups all-purpose flour
· 1/2 cup oil
· 1 cup sugar
· 1 cup milk
· 3 eggs
· 1 tsp. baking powder
· Vanilla to taste
· Baking paper (parchment paper)

Equipment:
· Measuring cups
· Blender
· 18 cm cake pan

Preparation:
The preparation was super simple. First, I preheated the oven to 180 °C. Right away, I set about measuring all the ingredients and preparing the pan: I measured the base, cut a circle of parchment paper to fit the circumference, greased the bottom and sides of the pan, and lined the bottom with the parchment paper.

With the blender ready, I added the liquid ingredients: milk, eggs, and oil. Then, I added the sugar and turned on the blender to start mixing.

I gradually added the wheat flour while it was mixing. 1003237397.jpg
Once all the flour was incorporated, I added the baking powder and, finally, the vanilla.

I poured the batter into the preheated pan and baked it for 30 minutes.

I checked it after 20 minutes, and this is what it looked like:

After 30 minutes, it was ready, so I turned off the oven and let it cool.

Final result:
After about 3 hours, when it was completely cool, I cut into it to taste it and serve my family a delicious snack.

I loved how easy and quick this recipe is. Next time, I’ll add another flavor or a special touch. I hope you’ll give it a try at home.

Ingredientes:
• 2 tazas de harina de trigo
• 1/2 taza de aceite
• 1 taza de azúcar
• 1 taza de leche
• 3 huevos
• 1 cdta. de polvo para hornear
• Vainilla al gusto
• Papel para hornear (papel manteca/encerado)

Utensilios:
• Tazas medidoras
• Licuadora
