1 3/4 cups cake flour
1 1/2 cups evaporated milk
3/4 cups granulated white sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
2 pieces salted egg
2 uncooked regular eggs
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon Vanilla extract (optional)

- In a mixing bowl, combine and sift the following dry ingredients - cake flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt.
- With a wire whisk, mix all the ingredients well and gradually pour the evaporated milk and vanilla extract while consistently mixing.
- Add in the regular eggs and mix it well with the ingredients. Set aside.
- Set steamer. When the water is boiling, it's time to pour the flour mixture in a baking pan, about 3/4 full. Steam this for 25-30 minutes or you can check it using a clean toothpick. Pierce the cake with it and when there is a mixture that sticks with it when you remove the toothpick, it means it is not cooked yet.
- While waiting for the cake in the steamer, prepare the salted eggs. Peel and slice them thinly.
- Place the salted egg slices on top of the cake while steaming.
- After 30 minutes and doing the toothpick test, remove cake from the steamer and let it cool to room temperature.
- Remove cakes from its mold and it's ready to serve.
