Hello Steemians!
I hope you are all having a great day. We had a quick rainfall earlier in this side of town, but despite that, the entire day has been quite lovely.
Who loves pancakes?
I like pancakes so do my nephew and niece. It has been a while though, since I last had pancakes. Perhaps, the people at home prefer having a rice meal for breakfast rather that pancakes.
All of a sudden, I missed eating pancakes when a very good friend of mine, Jeremy, sent me a picture of the delicious pancakes that he made. Even though, there are a lot of ready-to-cook pancakes in the grocery stores wherein you just add a little bit of water to the mixture to start cooking, he opted to buy his own ingredients and opted to mix the ingredients himself.
I am going to share to you the recipe that he used. I like that he used easy-to-find ingredients and simple steps to prepare it.
Below are the following ingredients that he used:
2 tbsp white vinegar
3/4 cup milk
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tbsp white sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg
2 tbsp butter, melted
cooking spray
This is Jeremy's appetizing presentation of his cooked pancakes.
Here's a simple procedure that you can take note of, in making these pancakes:
Mix milk and vinegar and set aside for about 5 minutes until it turned "sour".
Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and soda in another mixing bowl.
Whisk the egg and butter into the "soured milk" mixture. Then, pour the flour mixture into it and whisk until the lumps are gone.
Heat a pan or skillet over medium heat, then coat with cooking spray. Pour about 1/4 cup of the batter and cook it until the bubbles appear on the surface.
Flip it over to the other side and cook it until brown.
It does look fluffy and yummy! Please click here, for the recipe's reference.
