After dinner on Sunday night, we fell back into having a healthier option for dessert and pivoted to one of our favorites.

We had our Saturday cheat day, so come Sundays we try to be mindful how much and what we eat Saturday for dinner, because usually lunch is where we kind of overload and/or breakfast for that matter. On Sundays, we may push it for breakfast. I love a FULL Sunday breakfast and then try to maintain through dinner.

Honestly, since we have been recovering from the accident and not working out; we have loosen up a bit.

Now that we know we are going to start working out in two weeks, it's important we get back to the healthier eating zone to match our fitness routine.

Back to this past Sunday night, we had an acorn squash and my fiancé Tiffany decided to do in in the Air Fryer. We usually have it baked, but hey; I'm always open to air fried options.

It was simple and quick:

Tiffany added Brown Sugar, Cinnamon, Salt with some Olive Oil instead of Butter

Air Fried it at 375 degrees for 12 minutes and it was just as good, if not better than the baked version.

It tasted real good.

It's one of those things I am not gung ho too have often, but when we do choose to have it for dessert; I don't mind having an acorn squash. Guess what, I think I wouldn't want to eat it other than Air Fried when we have it again.
