I cannot really say why;
It’s just a combination of things,
Which I cannot seem to let lie.
Things that should not bother me,
that are trivial to see
Yet when I look at them,
they are not so trivial to me.
I cannot change the past;
The future for me is dim
I wish that my present were,
More calmly felt within
Still we all must carry on;
Doing the best we can
Hoping that tomorrow will,
Bring to all peace at hand
