↑Aug 14th, work began on my side rail↑
After this the worker (on another job) broke his arm, so it took a lot longer
↑Aug 30 I started painting, after I had cut the post down and finished the top rail itself to match the rail on the other side I'd installed myself in 2022
Here I have installed a dummy post on the right, just for symmetry and balance. The post caps/finials are solar powered lights
Pressure washing revealed a past paint job was rust color, how hideous ha ha ha
↓All the stuff from the porch was in the driveway↓
So I painted the two rockers, the wider seats in back are made of plastic
My niece came to paint the floor and steps for me
The rockers never had any cushions, the love seats had cushions, but after a couple of years out doors, they were badly molded, so I am currently in search of new cushions
I've hired a man to come tomorrow to paint all the wooden parts of the porch and the window frames on the house, he is supposed to be coming tomorrow, then I will be done with the porch.
I painted the two metal tables yesterday with gold tone spray paint, but I'm not sure if I'll use them again
