Persevera siempre permítete a ti mismo seguir adelante.

You Are the Next Genius

A good day always begins with a cup of coffee and the desire to make a difference; today, I add to that the need to write a new reflection and share it with those of you reading this. Before my coffee gets cold, I sit at the table—right next to the paperwork for matters I really shouldn't be putting off—and start writing.

Today, I want to talk about something I have always loved seeing in others: genius. I don't consider myself a person of grand ideas or inventions; my mind is quite calm and tends to follow established norms. Yet, that hasn't stopped me from feeling great admiration for people who think outside the box—those who possess the spark to think in new and different ways.

I have always marveled at the thought processes behind those moments of clarity—behind the great ideas that changed the course of history. I admire the people who transformed their lives with a single thought: sailing further west, painting wilted sunflowers, or launching a tech business from a humble workshop. All these ideas had to come from somewhere, or perhaps they simply appeared right there, at the perfect time and place. There are so many questions, and I can do little more than gaze in fascination at these events and these people from the comfort of the sidelines.

Although it might sometimes seem otherwise, we can be certain that great ideas do not simply appear out of thin air—even if they do emerge in the most unexpected places. People capable of brilliant ideas are not beings from another planet; they are individuals with a wealth of experience and knowledge, shaped by moments of searching and discovery. It is not just about people who experience great moments of inspiration.

And this is the crucial point: we all have the capacity to innovate, to come up with new and different ideas, and to achieve brilliance; we simply find ourselves at different stages—some closer to that moment of brilliance than others. And the second most important point: we can force brilliance. We can experiment more, create more, think more deeply, and live a wider range of experiences. We can push ourselves to be brilliant.

In the process of achieving brilliance of coming up with that great idea—there is one vital element that sets geniuses apart from the rest: curiosity. Curiosity is the first step: observing the world and questioning it, investigating, and exploring the unknown with a sense of wonder. A person lacking curiosity will never experience a spark of genius. After all, wasn't Isaac Newton consumed by questions when he saw the apple fall?

That is why I am writing this to tell you: you could be the next genius the world is waiting for. All you need is the drive and the curiosity. As for me, I am too busy writing, but you, you hold every possibility in your mind and have all the cards on the table. And remember: great ideas often go unrecognized in their own time; sometimes talent isn't understood within a single lifetime; and sometimes failure precedes the consolidation of success. Persevere, always allow yourself to keep moving forward.

Thank you, future genius with a brilliant idea, for reading my words.
