I recently read that entrepreneurship was being lonely when in fact my vision about entrepreneurship has to do with expectations.
Why do I say expectations? Because, fundamentally, when we talk about entrepreneurship, we are talking about the relationship that exists between everything that has to happen for something to work, and the inherent desire for it to work in itself.
So, that can be confused with loneliness, because loneliness comes with the fact of feeling individually responsible for the things that happen in your business.
From my point of view, it has to do directly with the expectation that this will result, and that expectation makes us confuse the feeling with loneliness.
A person who does not have a business has the security inherent in the position he occupies in the company where he is, the security of his income, and the confidence that once he leaves that company he will have his corresponding remuneration.
An entrepreneur doesn't have that. An entrepreneur has to individually do everything necessary to emerge and that's why many feel lonely when, in reality, they are in expectation. What you choose to think, defines how you feel, how you act and where you are going.
It's like deciding what expectation I have to succeed and not fail, because closing a cycle is not failing. It is to undertake and start choosing yourself.
Many times we ask for help when we have already fallen very low, in what we call "hitting rock bottom". I hope we are all smarter and don't expect to get there.
We must forget about that story on the way, which talks about "asking for help speaks of your weakness", on the contrary, rather it is a deeply intelligent act on your part.
Let's always remember that what you say to yourself, builds you up or destroys you. Do you want to start treating yourself better? Start here: Identify the voice that criticizes you the most.Is it yours or did you inherit it from someone? Many times, we repeat what we were told, not what we really think.
Let's be kind to ourselves, so talk to yourself like you would talk to someone you love. Be compassionate with yourself, so you will stop demanding yourself as if you were your own worst enemy.
Replace the “I can't” with “how can I?”. That small change strengthens our mindset.
I always take care of how I talk to myself! Do you know why? Because I stop complaining and self-pity, I get my act together and do whatever you have to do to let go of failure, fear, sadness and lack of will. I do not know what situations you are going through, I also do not know if it is possible or impossible to get out of where you are, but what I do know is that staying without doing anything will still leave you absolutely fucked up or fucked up as you are right now.
So I do something, invent a more rewarding thing, whatever it is, leave the buts behind and move forward.
