From the life trajectory I have, as a woman, as a mother, in recent years I have seen a high rate of separation in couples when they are born as parents, because they do not tolerate postpartum, nor parenting the first two years.

Let's understand that when we are born into the role of being parents, we begin an emotional mastery that will allow us to see many unresolved things from our childhood in order to take charge and accompany our children in a healthier, more present and more internally comforted way.

When I was a little girl, I remember that when I got into the creative frenzy and I kept awake because I couldn't get the structure of the script, I was looking for plans to have fun with my younger brothers, hahaha, secret missions that took us to seas where we talked to the whales that come to ask us for tangerines to continue their journey.

With my children when they were children my imagination always overflowed, nowadays, my (adult) children cultivate it. They have imaginary worlds where anything is possible. That's how tenderness is, they (sons) melt me with love and calm me down, when I'm vulnerable.

We are all born and creating a fair and healthy birth culture is everyone's business, that's why every space we win in favor of "creating this birth culture" is a space to celebrate life.

How much it costs us to cultivate the essence of being.

At this time of December I miss my children, they are all adults now, and they have immigrated to another country, so the spirit of Christmas is an energy coming from the center of the star system that brings me what is essential for me, and I believe human beings, from love to peace.

They, my children, have made me bring to the present, the tenderness and fragility of being a mother. Today, as when they were children, I feel fragile again, with panic of missing them, with urgency of living many years to hug them, pamper them, and share with them. I thought that I had already done so much of what I have wanted, that dying was not a mortification... Now it is, because I want to see my grandchildren grow up, my offspring.

What puzzles me is that I submissively accept fragility and tenderness. Being born as a mother-father can turn out to be a wonderful and challenging journey of self-knowledge, of rearranging our emotions and transcending limitations, as much as the opposite, an experience of struggle, suffering and removing traumas from our childhood.

Compromising our consciousness, will and desire for growth will make the difference between one path or the other.

It hurts me when I feel the generational rivalry instead of the honor... “I will never be like my mother or father”, and if you are the same, what would happen? There will be another being similar to you in the world, or are you a despicable being product of their ignorance?

Walking, honoring our own history, honoring, healing and thanking what my parents (still alive) thanks to God gave me fills the path with blessings, and gives me lightness and freedom. As well as, to console my inner child of the possible shortcomings that I have experienced in my early childhood and adolescence and from that comfort to prepare to console my children.

Therefore, it is a waste not to slow down the pace of life (even if it is the internal one), not to open the senses more than ever and get ready to live it with the greatest possible awareness, seeking and savoring every change, every experience and every learning.

Without a doubt, this Christmas of 2023 fills me with a lot of joy and a lot of fulfillment. It fills me with hope to know that a new woman has also been born in me, a mother and a professional who will surely be much more coherent, faithful and trusting in wisdom, who continues to teach me, that it is safe to create an imaginary, kinder and fairer, around what is the arrival of every human being in this world.
