It would be so wonderful if humans could fly—that's what I always think whenever I see clouds as beautiful as these in the sky.
But the other day I had to go pick up some ceramic floor tiles for my niece’s little house, which is under construction. That day I got up very early, and when it seemed like a good time to send a message to the store, I did so to ask if the tiles had arrived; I wasn’t worried that the order had been canceled, but they still hadn’t arrived at the store. Sure enough, they confirmed they had them, so I immediately arranged for transportation to take us to pick up the tiles.
We set out to pick up the tiles, but before we were even halfway there, the truck driver told us he had to stop at a gas station to fill up. Well, we had no choice but to wait for him to refuel; it’s better to wait a while than to get stranded on the road because of a lack of fuel.
And then it was his turn, and he was able to continue on his way; By the time I arrived, it was already noon, and the sun was shining brightly—it was also very hot—so I went to the store and went inside as soon as possible since it had air conditioning to help me cool off while they unloaded the merchandise. There were two trucks ahead of us, so we had to wait a few minutes. In the meantime, I looked at everything on display and checked the prices.
Then the young man who helped me—very kindly, by the way—asked if I’d like some water or coffee. Although I really like coffee, in this case I preferred cold water since the heat was too intense, and drinking hot coffee didn’t seem like a good idea.
Once the merchandise was handed over, we left the store and headed home. As we were driving along the road, the sun was still at its peak, but there were also some very beautiful clouds, so I immediately wanted to take some pictures to show them to all of you.
