DIA DE FRONT + HEFESTO 💪🔥
FRONT DAY+ HEPHAESTUS 💪🔥
Sinceramente, me he sentido fuerte, aunque no tan fuerte, pero ahí vamos.
¡Chao, chao! ✅💪🔥
Well, friends, today I trained more specifically the power in the front lever, meaning the touch and pull-ups. I also did a bit of Hefesto work. Today, I managed to do a Hefesto, but with a grip that’s not valid. However, a friend told me I can gain strength with that kind of lift, as long as I keep my thumb in when pulling up. The truth is, it’s very difficult for me to do that, and sometimes I get a cramp in my forearms. But well, it’s a matter of getting used to it. I’ll keep trying and see if I can get it in the front lever.
I started with a warm-up, since I set another goal for myself. Honestly, my goal is to do a 5555 in the front lever — that is, 5 seconds of touch, 5 pull-ups, 5 presses, and 5 seconds of hold. That goal isn’t very far off, but right now I can do a 3333 in the front lever — meaning 3 seconds of touch, 3 pull-ups, 3 presses, and 3 seconds of hold. So, that goal doesn’t seem too distant.
Since that’s my goal, I’ve been focusing specifically on working towards it. Today, I felt a bit weak, so I reduced the intensity of my workout and only did four sets of 3 seconds of touch + 3 pull-ups + 2 presses + 3 seconds of hold. After that, I worked on my main goal — the 5555 — using resistance bands. By that point, I was very tired, to the point that I couldn’t hold the 5 seconds in the last set.
But anyway, I did a total of four sets of that, and then did some basic advanced exercises, like touch, pull-ups, and holds.
Basically, that’s been my workout for today. Honestly, I felt strong, though not super strong, but I’m getting there. I’m not pushing myself too hard in training because I’ll be traveling soon for the competition — the Dual’s Battles — and I need to arrive with my nervous system fresh and my body well-rested.
Well, friends, see you tomorrow with the next post. Thanks so much for reading. Bye-bye! ✅💪🔥
