Have a happy and blessed weekend! It’s a pleasure to share with you once again. Today I’d like to share an easy and nutritious recipe for ground beef with green beans—perfect to serve with your favorite side dish. Here’s a step-by-step guide to this simple recipe.
- 350 grams ground beef
- 150 grams green beans
- 1 onion
- 3 sweet peppers
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 tomato
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- Oregano
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil
First, wash the vegetables thoroughly. Using a food processor, finely chop the tomato, onion, and bell peppers. Finely chop the garlic, and cut the green beans diagonally. Steam them until al dente; if you prefer, you can blanch or sauté them instead.
Heat a splash of olive oil in a skillet, add the garlic, stir, then add the meat. Mix well and cook until browned. Next, add the seasoning, stir, and sauté.
Add salt, pepper, and soy sauce; continue sautéing, then add the green beans and stir.
Add the tomato paste and a cup of water in which you’ve dissolved the cornstarch, stir, cook for a few minutes, and finally add oregano and let it simmer for a couple more minutes.
Once the meat is ready, serve it hot with your choice of side dish. This time, I paired it with pasta to enjoy a balanced lunch.
I hope you enjoy this simple recipe I’m sharing with you today. Until next time, and many blessings.
