What is your favorite comfort food for winter? One of my favorite is Miso Soup. It's easy, quick yet delicious. It's just perfect when the weather is cold outside. You dont need to go to Japanese restaurant and spend your money to have this tasty soup. Every time I go to Japanese restaurant, I cant help ordering Miso Soup even though I know that the portion will be small and there are not much tofu nor wakame in the bowl. Money not well spent :-D
Do you know that eating miso has a lot of benefits?
The biggest benefit of miso is that it’s brimming with probiotics. Because miso is fermented, it’s filled with beneficial, live probiotic cultures that have many upsides. You can think of probiotics as the “good bacteria” that inhabit our gut environment and balance “bad bacteria” that we obtain from poor-quality foods, toxins in the environment, contaminated water, pollution and so on.
